Terms of Sale for Trees

Conditions of Sale:

All shade and flowering trees are mechanically harvested and placed in burlap, and then into wire baskets.  All ball sizes and caliper measurements conform to the American Association of Nurserymen standards.  The normal harvest season is from October 1 through April 30.  Summer harvesting requires an additional 10% charge, and is only done when tree size and variety make it practical.  A $15 holding charge, due on April 30, will be added for each tree not shipped  by that date.
 

Miscellaneous:

Inspection certificates will be furnished with each shipment as needed.  No charge is made for trunk protectors or tying of tops.
 

Prices:

Prices in US Funds are based on current market conditions and are subject to change without notice.  Prices are F.O.B. Hubbard, Oregon.  All orders are subject to cancellation due to crop conditions, errors in counts, weather or any other causes beyond our control.
 

Guarantee:

At Oregon Turf and Tree Farms, we do our very best to assure the quality of our trees.  However, our liability is limited to replacing stock or refunding the purchase price of trees not true to name.  We do not warrant the quality, productivity, description, or any other matter of any trees we sell.
 

Reports or Claims:

Reports of damage or unsatisfactory stock must be made in writing within five(5) working days from receipt of shipment.  Any stock rejected must be reported to us immediately, and must be held until we determine a course of action.  We will gladly make adjustments when such claims are established.
 

Terms:

Net due in 30 days upon approval  of credit.  Customers without credit accounts must pay at or before time of delivery or pickup.  We do accept all major credit cards.  All orders require a 10% deposit together with a signed confirmation of the order to guarantee availability of trees.  A service charge of 1.5% per month (annual rate of 18%) is due on all overdue accounts.
 

Discounts:

$2,500-$10,000                    5%
          $10,000+                   10%

All invoices must be paid within 30 days of shipment to qualify for discounts.  Discounts are applicable only on trees picked up or delivered by April 30.
